I was browsing the CB2 website and came across the Alpine Bed.  I have not got the latest catalog yet, but I am pretty sure this bed is part of their new fall line.  According to the description, the bed is constructed out of steel and finished with a smooth gunmetal grey powder coat.   The bed also has an integrated shelf on the top for all your accessories.

If you follow my advice and do not buy everything for your room in one store, then a metal bed is a good start, because you can match almost any finish of furniture to it.  Plus, there are few things more “manly” than gunmetal.

As an aside, I just happen to be in the market for a new bed, and this one is high on the list.  [Purchase at CB2]
